Join us for a unique 4 day, 4 night retreat in Santa Fe and surrounding areas, focused on exploring sacred sites, ritual and ceremony, and energy medicine in the beautiful state of New Mexico. We’ll kick off our retreat with a celebration of Beltane, the Celtic holiday we associate with May Day, which honors the start of summer. We’ll then travel to Taos Pueblo for the Santa Cruz Feast Day which includes a blessing of the fields, corn dances and  the opportunity to taste and purchase traditional pueblo food, arts and crafts. The following day we’ll participate in a sacred cacao ceremony, Qi Gong and sound healing, and then hike Kasha Katuwe (Tent Rocks) on the Cochiti Pueblo, followed by a soak in the healing waters at 10,000 Waves, high on the mountain in Santa Fe. Traveling to Abiquiu the next day, we’ll tour Georgia O’Keefe’s famous Ghost Ranch on horseback, and end our retreat at the beautiful Teahouse in Santa Fe, touring some of the famous art galleries on Canyon Road.

There are a limited number of spots available for this retreat, and there has already been tremendous interest. Please be sure to reserve your spot either by purchasing your place, or purchasing the non-refundable deposit.

DETAILS

Arrival and Departure:

  • Pick ups at the Albuquerque airport will start at 3pm on Wednesday, 5/2, and end at 7:30pm. You’ll be picked up and taken to a local coffee shop or restaurant in Albuquerque, and we will all travel via van to Santa Fe.
  • Drop off to the Albuquerque airport on Sunday will occur at 2pm.
  • If you arrive or depart outside of these times, you can arrange for shuttle transportation to and/or from the airport via Sandia Shuttle ($25 one way).
  • If you are driving to New Mexico, please let me know and I will provide you with the arrival address.
  • FOR THOSE TRAVELING FROM SAN DIEGO: There is typically a 4:30pm non-stop flight arriving at 7:15pm in Albuquerque on Southwest.

Lodging Options:

There are several lodging options depending on your preference. Camping options are included below as well, and you may also opt to provide your own food. Note that you’ll need to pack your own lunch for day activities.

  • No lodging: the no lodging option is either for those who live in the area and will be going home to sleep, those who may be staying with friends in the area, those who are camping, or those who choose to go in on their own accommodations with a group of friends. If you choose this option, we will agree upon pick up and drop off locations each day, in advance. The weather in May will likely not be suitable for tent camping as we often still have snow through May. However, it’s been a temperate winter thus far.
    • Recommended Campground:
  • Shared Room: there are a few shared room options. You may request to share a room with a particular person. Please send me an email with your request. Shared rooms will include, at minimum, a twin bed, and a shared bathroom.
  • Private Room: Unfortunately the house we are staying in for this retreat does not have private rooms. You may purchase two retreat spots to reserve a private room ($1,900). Couples can be accommodated in a private room, as most rooms are set up for two people.
