This workshop will allow us to go deeply into this s acred time of year\, just days before Samhain/All Hallows Eve/Day of the D ead. Jim will teach practical techniques regarding photography using camer a phones\, while Sharna will discuss how to move into meditation\, focus a nd energetic connection to nature and the subjects that will be photograph ed. She is also certified as a Reiki Master\, Say it Straight Comm unication Trainer\, herbalist and aromatherapist as well as an intuitive. She writes for MindBodyGreen on Reiki healing\, and maintains healing prac tices in Santa Fe\, NM and San Diego\, CA and has clients in eight countri es\, and thirty three states in the US. Jim began teaching photography worksh ops in 2009\, emphasizing nature and landscape subjects. He has also prese nted his photography to groups and organizations\, and his photographs hav e been published in National Wildlife\, USAToday\, The Smithsonian\, and o ther publications\, including several book covers. In addition to his prof essional career in photography\, Jim has taught college communication and public speaking courses as an adjunct instructor at The Modern College of Design\, The University of Dayton\, and currently at Central New Mexico Co mmunity College. At his core is a passion for storytelling\, education\, a nd expression through art.
