Santa Fe Sacred Sites Retreat

Santa Fe & Taos, NM
Sep 25 – Oct 2, 2026

Led by Sharna Langlais

Join us in the sacred landscapes of New Mexico for a deeply restorative retreat designed to reconnect you with yourself, the natural world, and the subtle energies that support healing and transformation. Throughout the week, we’ll explore the region’s most meaningful landscapes, from the mineral springs of Ojo Santa Fe and the volcanic formations of Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument, to a horseback ride through Ghost Ranch, famously painted by Georgia O’Keeffe. Our journey continues to Taos, where we’ll visit Taos Pueblo during San Geronimo Day, offering a unique opportunity to experience a living cultural tradition. Centered at our private retreat home, Sky Haven, just outside Santa Fe, this experience weaves together Reiki, sound healing, cacao, Gyrokinesis® movement, biofeedback sessions, infrared sauna, red light therapy, and guided breathwork—creating a holistic and integrative journey. Each element of the retreat is thoughtfully curated to support reflection, connection, and meaningful personal growth.

Space is limited to 14 participants and the early bird special ends on June 15!

Nestled on peaceful acreage just off the historic Old Santa Fe Trail, “Sky Haven,” our retreat home, offers a quiet and grounding sanctuary for the days ahead. Sat, 9/26

Cacao & Sound Healing Ceremony + Ojo Santa Fe

Sky Haven, Santa Fe

We begin our journey under the energy of the Full Moon in Aries, a time associated with courage, initiation, and stepping fully into your authentic self. This lunar phase supports release and renewal, inviting you to let go of what no longer serves and move forward with clarity, confidence, and intention.

We’ll gather for a powerful opening experience with WalkingStar and Sharna, combining cacao ceremony, Reiki, and sound healing. Sharna will discuss the properties and history of cacao, as well as its uses and benefits. We’ll also bless and connect with the cacao plant through ceremony, as we drink a light ceremonial dosage. During the second hour, you’ll be invited to get comfortable, while Sharna provides Reiki to each participant along with sound healing by WalkingStar. This two hour healing experience will leave you feeling happy, light, warm and transformed.

WalkingStar has led individuals and groups on Sound Healing Journeys for over a decade. His work weaves a symphony of sound frequencies incorporating a variety of instruments including Native American flutes, crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, didgeridoo, rattles and other sound instrument. WalkingStar has been playing Native American flutes for 22 years and has facilitated Sound Healing Journeys for the last 10 years.

Ojo Santa Fe

We’ll spend time at Ojo Santa Fe, a tranquil spa sanctuary set across 77 acres of high desert landscape, known for its natural spring-fed waters and peaceful setting. The property features multiple outdoor soaking pools, each infused with different mineral compositions—such as iron, arsenic, soda, and salt—traditionally associated with supporting circulation, relaxation, and overall wellness. Guests are invited to soak in these healing waters, unwind in the serene environment, and optionally book spa treatments (additional cost), including massage, bodywork, and a range of therapeutic services designed to restore and rejuvenate. This experience offers a gentle and intentional transition into retreat space.

Sun, 9/27

Gyrokinesis + Tent Rocks

Sky Haven, Santa Fe

We’ll begin our day with a GYROKINESIS® movement session led by Jes Radaelli. This gentle yet powerful practice combines breath, fluid movement, and mindful awareness to support mobility, nervous system regulation, and energetic flow.

Often described as a moving meditation, GYROKINESIS® helps release tension, improve posture, and reconnect the body and mind—offering a deeply restorative and grounding experience.

Kasha-Katuwe “Tent Rocks”

We’ll visit Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument, a striking and geologically unique landscape formed by volcanic eruptions approximately 6–7 million years ago. The area is known for its cone-shaped rock formations—called “tent rocks”—created by layers of ash, pumice, and tuff that have been shaped over time by erosion. This land is part of the ancestral territory of the Cochiti Pueblo, for whom it holds cultural and spiritual significance.

As we walk along the canyon trails and pass between these towering formations, the landscape offers both a sense of scale and quiet stillness. The natural formations, narrow slot canyons, and elevated viewpoints provide a grounded and immersive way to experience the region’s geology and history, while also creating space for reflection and a deeper connection to the natural world

Mon, 9/28

Ghost Ranch Horseback Riding + Journey to Taos

Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu

We’ll check out of our hotel in Santa Fe and journey to the breathtaking landscapes of Abiquiú before continuing on to Taos. Along the way, we’ll enjoy a guided horseback ride through Ghost Ranch, a place known for its expansive desert beauty and deep spiritual presence. This iconic landscape was home to Georgia O’Keeffe, whose work was deeply inspired by its striking forms and luminous colors.

Surrounded by colorful cliffs, open sky, and the stillness of the high desert, this experience invites a sense of connection, perspective, and ease. We’ll enjoy lunch nearby following our ride, before continuing North to Taos.

Taos, New Mexico
Taos, meaning “the place of red willows” in the native Tiwa language, is home to Taos Pueblo, one of the oldest continuously inhabited native communities in the United States, with multi-story adobe structures dating back over 1,000 years. Taos has also been a longstanding center for artists as well as a gathering place in the 1960s and 70s for countercultural communities and spiritual seekers, including figures such as Ram Dass and Pema Chödrön, who spent time in the region during their early spiritual paths.
Arrival in Taos

We’ll check into our hotel in Taos. To maintain the integrity of the group experience, all participants will stay together in Taos for the next two nights. We’ll have an early night in order to wake up early to participate in the Taos Pueblo Fall Equinox/San Geronimo Day festivities.

Weds, 9/30

San Geronimo Day

Taos Pueblo

Today we experience San Geronimo Day at Taos Pueblo, a vibrant and deeply meaningful cultural celebration honoring Saint Jerome (San Geronimo), who has been integrated into Pueblo tradition over centuries following Spanish influence. Held each year around late September—near the time of the fall equinox—this feast day reflects both spiritual devotion and seasonal transition, marking a time of harvest, balance, and community renewal.

The day brings together generations through ceremony and tradition, including morning foot races, artisan markets, and the presence of the Koshare (sacred clowns), who play an important cultural role through storytelling, humor, and social teaching. Drumming, dancing, and communal gathering continue throughout the day, offering a rare opportunity to witness a living cultural tradition that has been preserved for centuries.

Guests are welcomed to respectfully observe and experience the day. In honoring the sacred nature of the celebration, photography and recording are not permitted—encouraging presence, reverence, and mindful participation.

Thurs, 10/1

TESTIMONIALS

My retreat with Sharna was so much more than a long weekend getaway. The retreat offered the opportunity to connect with like-minded people who were open and available to help me learn and grow as a person. Not only was the vortex energy I experienced on the trip transformational, but it was so much fun to watch it create shifts for the group as well. Sharna’s thoughtful approach to the trip logistics, planning, and our daily activities exceeded all my expectations. I’m so grateful for the new connections I made that I definitely will be booking future retreats. If you are looking for a personal growth experience, this is one you don’t want to miss!

~ Kathy,

Sharna was the ONLY person who could have assembled our retreat group and led me into the healing that I experienced with her. She is magic and love and light and without her gently supporting my growth for the past almost 2 years I wouldn’t be where I am today. Our water healing was the most powerful part of my retreat experience and the whole world should be allowed to see what a goddess Sharna is!
