Tonight we recognize the veil is thin, and we celebrate and honor our ancestors and loved ones who have crossed.
Here in San Miguel de Allende we’re putting together the traditional Día de los Muertos offering, sharing stories and memories of our loved ones, honoring their lives, connections and contributions. Samhain is the parallel Celtic tradition, one I celebrate each year. It’s raining here, and rather than being outside in the festivities, we’re sitting around the fire, telling stories, and it couldn’t be more perfect.
Perhaps take a moment tonight, amidst Halloween and other festivities, to remember those who have crossed, thank them for being a part of your life, saying their names out loud, and sending them love.
