We beat ourselves up so often, going over and over and over past events…thinking how we might have done things differently, and how differently the outcome might have been, had we. I can’t say how many times my clients say “I wish I had done better.” I truly believe we are all doing the best we can in each moment – and sometimes our best leads to beauty, and at others to complete catastrophe.

And yet, the choices we make in those moments are absolutely perfect, because they are exactly what we needed for our soul’s growth. Quite simply, if we could have made a different choice, we would have. The perfection lies in the lessons we reap from the decisions we make, not necessarily in the outcome itself.
