The last Full Moon of 2022 is almost here, and I’m excited to share it with you all virtually! Typically I am at the Santa Fe Salt Cave leading an in-person Full Moon Ritual each month. However, due to the holiday schedule, there won’t be a ritual at the Salt Cave this month, so I’ve decided to bring it online, as the last Full Moon of the year seems to good to miss!
December’s Full Moon: This is a Gemini Full Moon, and also the apex of the Mars Retrograde we’ve been in since October 30, 2022.
Date & Time:
Thursday, 12/8/22, 6:30-7:30pm Mountain Time
(5:30-6:30pm Pacific Time; 8:30-9:30pm Eastern Time; for other time zones, use Time Zone Converter, converting from Albuquerque, NM)
Platform:
The ceremony will be held via Zoom, and you may also dial in via phone if that is preferred. If you are unable to make the ceremony in real-time, a recording will be sent after the ceremony is complete. Log-in information and credentials will be sent after you register.
Ceremony Format:
I’ll be leading the group through a traditional Full Moon Ritual, based on Celtic pagan traditions that I’ve been practicing for over twenty years. The basic flow of the ceremony will include:
- Overview of Full Moon Ceremonies and their purpose
- Details and astrology regarding this lunation in Gemini
- Guided ritual invoking the four corners, creating a sacred circle together, and a journaling exercise which invites you to reflect on what you are releasing and invoking
- Short opportunity to share via chat (due to time constraints, there won’t be traditional verbal/video circle sharing)
- Closing out of the corners and completion of the ritual
- A recording of the one hour ceremony will be sent out afterward

Sharna Langlais, Reiki Master

She writes for MindBodyGreen on Reiki healing, and maintains healing practices in Santa Fe, NM and San Diego, CA and has clients in eight countries, and thirty three states in the US. Sharna travels worldwide to work with clients, teach and lead healing retreats. A skilled and passionate teacher and facilitator, she has been leading groups, workshops and classes for over 20 years.
