Join us for a workshop delving into the energy of photography, using meditation, energy exercises and practical photography skills with Sharna Langlais, Reiki Master and Jim Crotty, Photographer. This workshop will allow us to go deeply into this sacred time of year as we celebrate Imbolc, the Celtic shamanic holiday of midwinter. Jim will teach practical techniques regarding photography using camera phones, while Sharna will discuss how to move into meditation, focus and energetic connection to the subjects that will be photographed. In this way, we will meld energy, photography, nature and light together to capture images that reflect the sacredness of our Santa Fe landscape and nature.

Jim began teaching photography workshops in 2009, emphasizing nature and landscape subjects. He has also presented his photography to groups and organizations, and his photographs have been published in National Wildlife, USAToday, The Smithsonian, and other publications, including several book covers.
